Deliberately broad
This is the catch-all, and it's meant to be: anything two people can bet on belongs here. Private bets were folded into it rather than kept as a separate category, because a prop bet with a friend and a game of darts for $20 are the same kind of money — settled between people, not paid out by a house.
Won or lost, not staked and paid
A bet with a person doesn't have a payout. The amount on the line is won or lost outright, so SeedStake asks which way it went and for how much — one number instead of two, and a result that lands in your P&L correctly.
The tab you actually settle
Side action is where memories diverge fastest. A record that both of you can point at ends the argument before it starts, and turns a season of $20 bets into a number rather than a feeling.
